holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University where his thesis dissertation was "Site Investigation for the Home Builder". He has been actively performing residential, commercial and industrial building and home inspections throughout the entire Delaware Valley since 1978.
Besides his construction, building rehab and land subdivision experiences, he has also been involved in writing building material standards for the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM), the National Electrical Code (NEC), the BOCA Basic Building Code as well as other national standards organizations. He frequently consults with condominium associations in performing replacement and reserve analysis.
He has also appeared on radio programs as an expert on home and building inspections. An educator, Licensed Professional Engineer, Land Surveyor and State Certified Radon Testing Consultant, he holds membership in a variety of professional organizations including:

The American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists
The Pennsylvania and National Association of Realtors
Roman is also a City of Philadelphia Licensed Home Inspector #24364, Pennsylvania DEP Radon certified #0614 and is totalling compliant with the Pennsylvania Home Inspection Law and carries Errors and Omissions and General Liability insurance as required by Pennsylvania.
